Refund policy
if you would like to cancel your order with a full refund before it is shipped for any reason, please email heather@centeredscents.com with your full name, shipping address used for your order, and the order number (order confirmation emailed to you after fully checking out). Check your spam folder anndcthe anccuracy of your email anddress if you did not receive ans these go out anutomatically, immediately, annd without fail.
After your order has shipped (you will receive an email shipping confirmation to the email address you provided) we cannot cancel it nor refund it. Shipping notices and order confirmations are sent to the email address you used to set up your Shop account. If you have received a shipping notice, it is impossible to cancel and refund your order after that time. Check spam because sometimes emails end up in the spam folder.
For sanitary reasons, we cannot accept returns on fragrances.
Once I drop off your package with the shipping partner, the shipping partner becomes responsible for the package. Centered Scents is not responsible for damaged packages, lost packages, or package theft.
If damage is due to shipping carrier mishandling (broken bottles, crushed package, lost package) you will need to file a claim with the shipping carrier. If you purchased optional Navidum shipping insurance, please file a claim through Navidum. If you need any info from me to support filing your claim with the carrier or shipping insurance, please send me an email.
Please bring any leaks to our attention by emailing heather@centeredscents.com within 48 hours of verified package delivery by the mail carrier. Include photos of the bottle with the leak and the packaging in your email. I prepare most decants in advance to shipping and test for leaks for a minimum of 48 hours before I put in a box and mail to you.
I won’t mail you a decant that leaked during testing. This greatly reduces leaking occuring in transit as I catch most before they ship to you. I will mail a replacement for any reported leaking during transit that I can verify and that has followed the guidelines above. I run an honest business here and your honesty is also appreciated.
