Færal parfum was developed as antidote to modern reality, during the throes of a devastating neurological illness. I soon felt like I was viewing the world from another realm, half dead and yet somehow still alive. And for some people, this is precisely the moment things get interesting. The mind is set free of social trappings and the imagination is allowed to roam in the creation of this new hidden world. My perfumes became characters in it, each a universe of their own, and my imaginary friends during the loneliest time of my life. They are created to soothe, delight, and challenge our perceptions of reality, with the ultimate effect of transforming the human spirit into something magical.
