How will my decants be packaged? 

All our decants are available in a 1mL spray bottle, a 2ml spray bottle, a 5mL spray bottle, and a 10mL spray bottle. Due to supply chain inconsistencies and tariffs, bottle shape, size, and materials may vary and you may have several different bottle designs within one order (reflecting the supply chain inconsistencies over time).

The most important factor that Centered Scent's considers in packaging is security and integrity of the fragrance (meaning reducing the chance of leaks and exposure to conditions that could chance the fragrance) and bottles used in the decanting process reflect this goal.

5ml and 10ml bottles will always be heavy glass. 1ml and 2ml bottles may be glass or plastic and will always be sprayers. Free samples offered may be in glass or plastic, and may be sprayers or dabbers. Your decants you purchase will never be packaged in a dabber. 

Are these the actual perfumes?

All products are authentic products purchased wither directly from the brand or an authorized retailer. Centered Scents does not alter the fragrances in any way. Centered Scents' operates with values of integrity, authenticity, and trust. Our reputation is very important to us and we will not involve ourself in any activities that lack honesty and integrity. 

How do you decant the fragrances?

The decant process involves using sterile syringes and sanitary extraction methods to secure the integrity of the fragrance as intended by the perfumer(s).

How do you store the fragrances? 

Fragrances are stored in the original bottle as bottled by the perfumer/manufacturer 99% of the time (some bottles are impossible to decant using a syringe, and in those limited cases, the fragrance is decanted in full to a more suitable bottle).  Storing the fragrances in their original bottle supports Centered Scents' goals to avoid/reduce exposure to environmental factors that could change the composition of the fragrance. All fragrances are stored in cabinets in a year-round climate-controlled area, away from direct sunlight and heat. 

What if I want the full bottle of perfume?

We  may start offering full-bottles soon! For now, full bottles of fragrance shown in photos are not for sale and are provided solely for recognition purposes. Sample sizes and decants of this fragrance are available for purchase. If you love your decant and want a full size of the perfume, we encourage you to buy directly from the brand! Centered Scents is an independent rebottler/decanter and is not affiliated with any brands shown in photos and offered on this website. 

What if I don't like the perfume?

Due to sanitary regulations, there are no refunds after your order has shipped nor can we accept any returns. If your decant is leaking or damaged, please reach out to us within 72 hours with a photo of the damage included in your email.  Send photos to heather@centeredscents.com within 72 hours of delivery. We encourage you to purchase the optional shipping protection. 

What will my order look like?

We love fancy and boutique packaging! Packaging themes are planned very carefully and coordinated for a boutique, luxery unboxing experience. Themes will vary throughout the year ad we hope you enjoy each unboxing with the whimsy, magic, creativity, and love we pour into every detail.

We pack your fragrances securely using natural materials and recycled materials whenever possible.  Unboxing your fragrance will be a soothing, fragrant olfactory experience as you catch wafts of dried florals and aromatics that we include as part of your fragrance experience.  Scent strips are included for your sniffing pleasure. 

Is this even allowed?

Decanting is a legal business. Some brands prefer to be more controlled in how and where their brand's logo/image is used. In those cases, logo's may be redacted and reliance upon recognition of the bottle - minus the logo - may be essential to provide you reasonable access to a decant/sample.

All decant bottles are properly labeled in accordance with FDA requirements. Samples and decants are prepared adhering to all applicable sanitary protocols.

I had a reaction to the perfume. Who do I need to talk to?

Centered Scents, LLC is not liable for any reactions to any of our decants. Like all perfumes, the chance of having an irritation or allergic reaction is possible. We at Centered Scents recommends everyone to do research on known allergens in perfumes and look into the ingredients before purchasing if you have any concerns.

Is Centered Scents sponsored by the brands?

Centered Scents, LLC is not affiliated with the brands shown in the photos and we do not receive any compensation from the brands.
