ELLA K, AN IMAGINARY HEROINE

Ella Maillart, Karen Blixen and Alexandra David-Neel – these pioneering explorers from another century have inspired generations of women.


ELLA K is one of these women. Though never an avatar of her creator, she is a figment of her imagination. Outside of space and time, she knows no limits or boundaries to her explorations. She adds to her inner journeys and initiations, setting out to meet others and discover distant places.

She is one of those beautiful souls who loves the unknown, without prejudice, without fear, without hesitation, and with an unshakable faith in her instincts. Encouraged by the example of her illustrious predecessors, she chooses, like them, to write her own story, leaving behind the rules and regulations.

THE DRAGONFLY, HALLMARK OF ELLA K

A symbol of metamorphosis, evolution and courage, a universal symbol of the realm of emotions and the magic of nature, the dragonfly is an invitation to explore and embark on an inner journey: a gentle evocation of the spirit of the brand. Designed by the Japanese artist Senjiro Nakata, the dragonfly becomes a K, a mysterious allusion to the initials of a person close to Sonia’s heart.
